Less Cat, More Cat or Meerkat?

 

 

I haven't been blessed with a Meerkat sighting in South Africa.

My only live sighting has been Taronga Zoo in Sydney.

The following cat was my sighting, even if it was only for a mere few seconds.

Barely time to pick up the camera…..

Another Sad Story

Can this possibly be true???????   Aha, maybe we have just discovered why the sea turtle is going extinct & it is not global warming..... World shame coast  in  COSTA RICA ___,_,_,_,____ ”_” __ ? _ ? Please distribute widely.  The Turtle eggs are stolen to be sold. PLEASE POST TO EVERYONE!!

One of our favourite stops in Southern Kruger for a drink or snack is

AFSAAL Picnic Spot 

My favourite indulgence be it breakfast or lunch is the peppermint crisp pancake.(healthy holiday diet)

The resident Scops Owl is sought out by most visitors, but I must admit that I love the antics of the Southern Yellow-Billed Hornbills as they flit around the picnic and restaurant area.

The task is to get them to sit still for a few seconds for a close up photograph.
