One of our favourite stops in Southern Kruger for a drink or snack is

AFSAAL Picnic Spot 

My favourite indulgence be it breakfast or lunch is the peppermint crisp pancake.(healthy holiday diet)

The resident Scops Owl is sought out by most visitors, but I must admit that I love the antics of the Southern Yellow-Billed Hornbills as they flit around the picnic and restaurant area.

The task is to get them to sit still for a few seconds for a close up photograph.
