Mapungubwe…a slice of paradise.

A leisurely 480k drive from Pretoria and we arrived in Mapungubwe.

I will add links to this breathtaking place in a later blog.

We stayed in Leokwe camp in the Eastern section. Sixteen bungalows in total, well spaced for privacy.

Apart from the birds and baboons the only other sound was the shrill voice of and English tourist sharing her daily events with her friend whilst they were in the outdoor shower…as a result we all sharedDisappointed smile

We discovered the Western section of the park on Tuesday, and at the waterhole/hide we experienced what we thought was our best elephant sighting. Eight elephants up close and personal.

The following are not in any particular order of sighting.
